Based on one of Amy’s books, ‘Social Survival; A Manual for Young People with Autism and other Logical Thinkers’ , this training is ideal for those working with young people 9yrs+ with High Functioning Autism and Asperger’s Syndrome. Also great for parents.
Often young people with High Functioning Autism and Asperger’s Syndrome struggle to manage the ‘grey’ areas of social etiquette and interaction. This can lead to social isolation, anxiety and difficulties managing all social areas of life.
The training will take attendees through a range of different social scenarios and break these down into manageable components with helpful activities to use with the young people.
